Passport and Visa Requirements

Hainan Island launched new visa-free entry policy for citizens of certain 59 countries since May 1, 2018. Travelers who meet related requirements can enjoy 30 days visa-free access to Sanya, Haikou and cities in the whole Hainan Province. On July, 2019, the free entry has been further optimized, expanding the purpose of visiting from tour to business, family visit, sport, exhibition, etc., supporting individul declaration. Also, Hannan opens 15 day visa free for cruise tour groups. Others (not qualified any China Visa Free Policies), hence, need to apply and hold a valid Chinese Visa to go to Hainan. Letter of Invitation

If you need an invitation letter to apply for a visa to China, please send the following information to QRS Secretariat:

• Name (as it appears on your passport)
• Date of birth
• Passport ID
• Country of citizenship (country which issued your passport)
• Job title/position
• Affiliation with post address
• Registration confirmation number
• If you have a paper accepted by QRS 2022, please include the paper ID and title, as well as the corresponding track name
